Shipping policy

This policy explains how Hunky Chunky ships orders, what to expect during transit, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Where we ship
We ship to all 50 US states. We do not ship internationally at this time, including to US territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or freight forwarders.
Carriers and methods
We ship via UPS exclusively. The carrier service used for your order depends on the destination:
UPS Ground: applied automatically to addresses within UPS 1-day or 2-day Ground transit zones from our Winter Park, Florida bakery.
UPS 2nd Day Air: applied automatically to addresses outside UPS Ground 2-day zones.
The shipping method is selected during checkout based on your delivery address to ensure your cookies arrive within their peak freshness window. You will see the shipping cost and estimated delivery date before completing your purchase.
Bake and ship schedule
Hunky Chunky cookies are baked to order. Orders ship within 2 business days. Orders placed Saturday or Sunday are processed from the following Monday.
We do not bake or ship on US federal holidays. Orders placed before a holiday will ship the next regular business day.
Transit times
Once shipped, most orders arrive within 1 to 2 business days. Specific transit time depends on your address:
1 business day: most of Florida and southern Georgia (UPS Ground)
2 business days: most of the southeastern US (UPS Ground)
2 business days: all other US destinations (UPS 2nd Day Air)
Total time from order placement to delivery typically ranges from 2 to 5 business days depending on your location and the day you order.
Order tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a UPS tracking number via the email address provided at checkout. Tracking is also available in your customer account at hunkychunky.com.
Free shipping
Orders totaling $90 or more before tax qualify for free standard shipping within the US. Free shipping uses the same UPS service applicable to your address (UPS Ground or UPS 2nd Day Air).
Hot weather shipping
We ship year-round, including summer months. Because our UPS transit times are short, we do not require special temperature-controlled packaging. Cookies are protected during transit by food-grade, sealed bags and our custom corrugated boxes.
Chocolate-containing flavours may show cosmetic transit effects in warmer months, such as chocolate transferred onto the inside of the wrapper or pale bloom on the chocolate itself. These are normal and do not affect freshness, flavour or food safety. See our Refund policy for what does and does not qualify for a reship or refund.
We do not currently offer expedited or overnight shipping for hot-weather concerns. If you have specific heat-related concerns about a delivery, contact us before placing your order at hello@hunkychunky.com.
Delivery delays
If your parcel is more than 5 business days past the expected delivery date shown in your tracking, contact us at hello@hunkychunky.com or via our Contact page. We will investigate with UPS and reship or refund if the parcel cannot be located.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather, natural disaster, or other events outside our control. If an extended delay causes your cookies to arrive unusable, we will treat it as a damage claim under our Refund policy.
Damaged or melted packages
If your cookies arrive crushed, broken, or melted out of shape, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@hunkychunky.com or via our Contact page.
Please include your order number and photographs of the outer shipping box, the inner packaging as you found it, and the affected cookies, taken as the order was delivered and before anything is thrown away. We cannot assess a claim without them. Full detail is in our Refund policy.
Address accuracy
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. We are not liable for delivery failures caused by incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
If a package is returned to us due to an undeliverable address, we will contact you. Reshipment to a corrected address may incur an additional shipping fee, which we will confirm with you before processing.
Lost or stolen packages
If UPS marks your package as delivered but you cannot locate it:
1. Check around your delivery location, including with neighbors or property management.
2. Contact UPS directly at 1-800-742-5877 to report it.
3. Contact us at hello@hunkychunky.com so we can document the issue and assist where possible.
Hunky Chunky is not liable for packages confirmed delivered by UPS but missing on arrival, but we will work with you and UPS in good faith to find a resolution.
Subscription orders
Subscription orders follow the same shipping schedule and policies described above. Subscribers can skip, pause, or cancel any future delivery from their customer account.
