The cookies.
What makes Hunky Chunky cookies different?
Two things. They are six ounces each, where most bakery cookies are about one, so they eat like a meal rather than a snack. And the ingredients do not compromise: premium fair trade chocolate, non-GMO throughout, organic sugar, grass-fed butter, organic eggs, and zero artificial dyes. Every batch is baked by hand in Winter Park, Florida.
How big are Hunky Chunky cookies really?
Six ounces, or 170 grams, each. A typical bakery cookie weighs about one ounce, so a Hunky Chunky is roughly six times the size. One fills an adult palm. Plan accordingly.
What allergens do Hunky Chunky cookies contain?
Every cookie contains wheat, milk and eggs. Some flavours also contain soy. The full ingredient list for each cookie is printed on its label and on its flavour page. Important cross-contact notice: our kitchen also processes peanuts and tree nuts. Our cookies contain no nuts as ingredients, but cross-contact may occur. If you have a severe nut allergy, please consider this carefully before ordering.
Are Hunky Chunky cookies vegan or gluten-free?
No to both. Our cookies contain butter, eggs and wheat flour. They are vegetarian. We do not currently offer vegan, gluten-free, kosher-certified or halal-certified options.
What chocolate does Hunky Chunky use?
Premium fair trade chocolate, in every cookie that contains chocolate. That covers Sunday Cookie, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Gem, Chocolate Donut and Chocolate Chip Pancake.
What does non-GMO actually mean here?
Every ingredient we source is non-genetically modified. Flour, sugar, butter, eggs, chocolate, vanilla, all of it. We chose that standard on day one and do not intend to compromise on it.
Are Hunky Chunky cookies made in a commercial kitchen?
Not yet. Hunky Chunky is produced in a Florida home kitchen under the Home Sweet Home Act, so by law every cookie carries the disclosure that it is made in a cottage food operation not subject to Florida's food safety regulations. We follow commercial-standard food safety practice regardless. Full detail is on the Cottage Food Disclosure page.

Ordering and shipping.
When will my Hunky Chunky order ship?
Orders ship within 2 business days. We bake to order, so your cookies are made after you order rather than pulled off a shelf.
How are Hunky Chunky orders shipped, and where do you ship?
We ship via UPS to all fifty US states. Orders going to states east of the Rockies travel UPS Ground; western and mountain states travel UPS 2nd Day Air, so no box spends long in transit. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Do you ship cookies in hot weather?
Yes, year round. Because nearer orders go UPS Ground and distant ones go 2nd Day Air, cookies are not in transit long enough for heat to become a problem, so no climate-controlled packaging is needed.
Will my chocolate look perfect?
Probably not, and that is a good sign. Real chocolate transfers onto the wrapper and sometimes blooms into pale streaks when a box warms and cools in transit. Both are normal in a cookie made with no stabilisers, and neither affects taste, freshness or safety. If a cookie arrives broken, crushed or melted out of shape, that is a different thing and we will put it right.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Photograph the box and the cookies as they arrived, before you throw anything away, and email the photos with your order number to hello@hunkychunky.com. A real person looks at every one. If something arrived crushed, melted out of shape, or simply wrong, we put it right with a reship or a refund. Claims need to reach us within 7 days of delivery.
What if my order is delayed?
If your parcel is more than five business days past the expected delivery date shown in your tracking, email hello@hunkychunky.com or use the Contact form. We will chase it with UPS and reship or refund if it cannot be found.
Can I send Hunky Chunky as a gift?
Yes. Enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout and add a gift note in the order notes field. The note is printed on a card and travels in the box. We never include pricing in the package.
Can I return cookies?
Cookies are perishable, so we cannot accept returns once an order is delivered. But we stand behind every box: if something arrived damaged, late or wrong, email hello@hunkychunky.com within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right. The full policy is on the Returns and Refunds page.
Storage and freshness.
How long do Hunky Chunky cookies stay fresh?
Seven to ten days at room temperature in the sealed bag, or up to two months frozen. They are best sooner rather than later, but they hold up well if you cannot get to them straight away.
How should I store Hunky Chunky cookies?
The counter is fine for seven to ten days; the bag they ship in is heat-sealed and keeps them at their best. For longer, use the freezer.
How do I make a Hunky Chunky cookie taste fresh-baked again?
Out of the bag and ten seconds in the microwave brings it back to warm and soft. If frozen, thaw at room temperature first, then microwave briefly.
Why are Hunky Chunky cookies individually wrapped?
Freshness and control. Each cookie is sealed in its own food-grade bag so it stays soft from our kitchen to yours, and you can eat one now, save one, share one or freeze one without exposing the rest to air.

Pick a box and a frequency at checkout and you save 15 percent on every order, automatically, with no code to enter. Choose biweekly, monthly or quarterly delivery.
Which delivery frequencies can I choose?
Biweekly, monthly or quarterly. You can change frequency at any time from your account without cancelling and restarting.
Can I pause, skip or cancel a subscription?
Yes to all three, at any time, from your account. No phone trees, no retention scripts and no guilt.
Can I change my flavour or frequency?
Yes. Log in, edit the subscription and save. You can change the box, the flavour, how many boxes per delivery and how often they arrive.

What is the Munch Mop for?
Six-ounce cookies have a way of coating fingers. Every box includes a single-use, water-based wet wipe we call the Munch Mop, because sticky fingers should not interrupt the moment.
What is the fridge magnet for?

Does Hunky Chunky sell wholesale?
Not currently. As a Florida cottage food operation we are limited to direct-to-consumer sales and cannot wholesale to retailers. If you would like to carry Hunky Chunky once we move to a commercial kitchen, email hello@hunkychunky.com to join the list.
